Maakoa Fearless 2009
Maakoa Fearless 2009 - The Official Launch was a huge success - one for the record books! Attendees packed the Grand America Hotel in SLC for an incredible weekend of networking, food, and great entertainment, kicked off by a welcome reception on Friday evening featuring some of the best hors d’oeuvres known to man. It was the ideal opportunity to network with associates who share our passion for life.
Saturday began with a general session packed with valuable insights from Maakoa Executives and our Master IBOs. Attendees were treated to a visit by NBA Basketball Star Bryon Russell, who tested his shot-making skills against our VP of Sales, Todd Kirkpatrick. Brandt Anderson of the Utah Flash also joined us to discuss the marketing agreement between Maakoa and the Utah Flash. Our general session culminated in a moving address by former Olympic speed skier, Vince Poscente. Vince educated us on being ‘fearless’ and doing what the competition is ‘not willing to do.’
The afternoon included breakout sessions filled with information, from product details of Koopuwa and MXP3, to education on our Team Office software, our compensation plan, and a discussion with the Masters about building a Maakoa business.
Our formal evening event was unrivaled, with a fantastic ‘surf and turf’ dinner, followed by the presentation of some well-deserved awards. The evening was capped off by incredible entertainment, featuring Jason Hewlett and an amazing Cirque act from WonderWorld.
Also announced at the event was the Maakoa Incentive Cruise coming in March of 2010!
Maakoa Fearless 2009 was a huge success, and we've only just begun!
